About Me

Passionate CS senior with a strong interest in
machine learning, software engineering, and research.

I am in my senior year at CU Boulder where I balance my studies with professional and research experience. I am graduating Fall 2024 with a Bachelors degree in computer science and a minor in information science. I plan to continue my education at CU Boulder by pursuing a research-based Master's degree in computer science with a focus on machine learning starting Fall 2025.

What I'm Up To

I am learning, working, and doing research to develop my skills in computer science.

Undergraduate Operations Software Engineer at LASP

At the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Science (LASP), I work as an Undergraduate Operations Software Engineer where I contribute to the development of critical software for spacecraft flight command and control operations. This experience has honed my technical skills and ability to work in team environments. I have also gained exposure to atmospheric science and working with satellites, which I plan to explore in future machine learning research projects.

Undergraduate Machine Learning Research Assistant at GeoHAI

As an Undergraduate Machine Learning Research Assistant working at the Geospatial Human-centered Artificial Intelligence (GeoHAI) Lab, I collaborate with my PhD research mentor Julia Romero on developing a novel multimodal machine learning model for video segmentation. This project allows me to delve into my passion for machine learning while fostering valuable research skills. I plan to pursue a research-based Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on machine learning to continue my work in the field. This research experience is facilitated through the YOURE@CU Undergraduate Research program. The GeoHAI lab is led by Morteza Karimzadeh.
